ITAI (Institute of Traffic Accident Investigators) held it is Crash Day on Thursday 30 June, 2016 at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground, Leicestershire. The event was well attended with delegates from across the spectrum of the collision investigation community attending.
During the event 14 collisions were carried out, varying from high speed vehicle-to-vehicle collisions and simulated collisions with vulnerable road users, such as pedestrians and cyclists.
Tele-Traffic UK Ltd was invited to attend the event to capture vehicle speed data as the collisions occurred. Using the Lti TruSpeed DC (Data Collector) device we were able to show both pre and post-collision speeds for the vehicles in the collisions.
TruSpeed DC proved to be a dependable and accurate speed data collector, providing the information required.
The TruSpeed DC includes the latest advances in laser technology, allowing the laser to be lighter, faster, easier to use and more accurate.
The distinctive design offers straight forward menu options, which make it simple to use. It also has the first effective anti-detector/jammer program installed. Please follow the below link to see details of the TruSpeed DC.
We were also able to introduce the Lti TruPoint 300 surveying solution to the collision investigation community, this ground breaking product is a small, lightweight and compact total station ideal for use in applications, such as crash and crime scene investigation.
