The universal Laser Sensor (ULS) can be used in many traffic management applications, such as presence detection, classification by profiling, time between cars and can be implemented into custom projects (OEM and system integrators).
The “Look Down Mode” is a dedicated high speed proximity detection configuration used to detect the presence of fast moving objects, such as vehicles travelling on a busy motorway or road. The ULS comes with e graphical user interface which allows the sensor to be fully programmable.
Adjust the sensors range within a predetermined distance, change the pulse rates per second and even modify how you want data values generated or downloaded.
