What is TeleStat?
TeleStat combines the LTI 20.20 series laser speed measuring devices with a laptop (supplied) data collector and a powerful software suite that runs on the data collector and your office PC. With it an operator can store hundreds of vehicle measurements. The data can then be filtered and viewed in nearly all the standard traffic engineering formats and uploaded to Excel, etc.
You can generate print outs and even download data files to the office PC to automatically create graphs. TeleStat provides accuracy, flexibility and selectability.
Accuracy
With TeleStat the accuracy comes from the inherent accuracy of the LTI 20.20 used in speed enforcement. Additionally the data collector capture method ensures data integrity from start to finish.Flexibility
TeleStat goes anywhere because the field software runs on a laptop data collector. The set-up time is less than a minute and the actual surveys will take less time since data can be captured and recorded as fast as the trigger can be pulled.
Selectability
Unlike radar or loops the laser is target specific and will pick a single vehicle from a crowded traffic pattern. Multiple or single data collection, passenger or commercial and both directions all present no problems.
Additionally the data can be reviewed and segmented in any way - in the field.
