Paul Garratt has been appointed as the new managing director of Tele-Traffic.
Previously production manager at the company, Paul has been involved with the business since its inception in 1992 and joined Tele-Traffic in a full time capacity in 2008. He takes over the day-to-day running of the business from his father, Tele-Traffic co-founder Frank Garratt, who will remain with the firm in the role of chief executive.
Commenting on his new role, Paul said: “Although our job titles have changed, it is still very much the same management team running Tele-Traffic.
“I am looking forward to continuing to build on our current success, expanding into new markets and looking for innovative new methods to improve speed enforcement across the country.”
Tele-Traffic was founded in Warwick in 1992 and also has a base in Kildare, Ireland. The company introduced the first type-approved laser speed measuring device in 1993, going on to develop a customer base that includes all UK police forces, many local authorities and private companies looking for ways to address health and safety issues.
