We are proud to announce that Home Office type approval has now been given for our Concept II system.

Concept II is a customer configured speed detection and enforcement system for use in the tripod mounted mobile attended mode.

Some three years in development, the next generation of Concept provides a smaller, all in one integrated digital recording system for the professional.

For the core of the system it utilises a Type Approved LTI 20.20 UltraLyte 1000 laser speed detection device, a Type Approved Tele-Traffic Display Control Unit, integrated video camera, and professional zoom lens. The rest can be tailored to the user's requirements.

The recording medium used is DVD+R technology which offers greater flexibility for evidence gathering in speed enforcement.

As well as recording speeding offences the operator can record and mark other offences - such as not wearing a seat belt, red light violation or using a mobile phone while driving - for later process. The Concept II can also be used in conjunction with Automatic Number Plate Readers.

It is powered by a 12v 35Ah or 55Ah power station that provides more than 10 hours of operation, while its 6.4in touch screen interface provides ease of use.
