Tele-Traffic’s new Ranger system has been granted Home Office type approval and is available now.

Ranger is a lightweight mobile speed detection and enforcement system that is attracting attention all over Europe. Easily transported in two Peli cases, Ranger fits well in the back of a patrol car or small vehicle.

The base unit is the size of a briefcase and has a self contained rechargeable battery, 12 inch touch screen monitor and an integrated DVD recorder which offers greater flexibility for evidence gathering in speed enforcement.

The Transport case for the camera and the LTI 20.20 UltraLyte 1000 laser speed detection device laser unit is slightly larger. The remainder is tailored to the user's requirements and can be fitted with a GPS locator.

As well as recording speeding offences the operator can record and mark other offences, such as using a mobile phone while driving, for later process.
